Context Board

Here we go, blog post number two. Since this is meant to be an education-centred blog, I thought I would share my latest uni task :) So here's my context board from maths today.

As you can probably guess, it's a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme. It includes 5 pieces for each character which can be sorted or used for counting. There is also the 'picture puzzle' from the TV programme which the children can use to make the shapes. I made some flashcards, but these are more to guide the adult as the children obviously won't be able to read them, although there are colourful foam numbers which can be used alongside the flashcards. All the characters are movable aswell so multiple children can play with it at the same time, and so that they can also be used for positioning activites (ie. above, beside, in front of).

.... and it only took me about 12 hours!
